Padel Tennis at Blazing
Join Europe’s fastest growing sport and enjoy a game of padel at Salle Moore Farm. The North Norfolk padel venue offers two high-spec indoor courts. Bats and balls are available for hire and prebooking is essential. There is a free car park on site. Paddleboarding on the North Norfolk Coast
If you fancy trying some stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) then head down to Sheringham sea-front where you can hire boards or book lessons at the SUP shack. The instructors have a wealth of experience with one of them having taken part in competitive and long-distance paddles which has included paddling across the English Channel!
Lessons can be tailored to different levels of experience and they can arrange private bookings, corporate events and group bookings. You can also pre-book morning or evening sessions subject to availability and weather conditions or why not try some sunset yoga and paddleboarding! The Thrill of the Track – Go-Karting
Fancy a day tearing around a track? Then Karttrack Cromer is the perfect outdoor adventure!
This adrenaline-fuelled activity is great for the whole family and was recognised with a Tripadvisor Travellers’s Choice Award in both 2022 and 2023. This family-run business is led by the Tritton family, who bring over 30 years of motorsport experience.
They offer a variety of events, from practice sessions and exclusive track hire to full-blown Grand Prix-style races! The centre also provides a disabled-access kart with handlebars, throttle, and brakes perfect for karters with limited or no mobility in their legs.
With 550 metres of all-weather track, it’s an ideal activity for days when a beach trip isn’t appealing! The minimum age is 8 years, with a height requirement of 1.34m. Suitable for all abilities, with qualified staff on hand to guide participants.

Surf’s up at Cromer
Surfing is a popular sport in North Norfolk, and Cromer Beach is one of the best spots to take surf lessons or hire a surfboard.
If you are feeling inspired to catch a wave while visiting North Norfolk, then a visit to Glide Surf School is a must! This family-run accredited surf centre is located on Cromer’s promenade and offers expert tuition to surfers of all levels. Check out their website for opening hours and booking details. There’s also an on-site surf shop where you can hire wetsuits and equipment. Take a look at their webcam to get a sneaky peek of the beach.

Wimbledon-next-the-Sea… anyone for tennis?
Cromer Lawn Tennis and Rackets Club is known to have some of the best tennis grass courts in the country after Wimbledon and Queen’s Club with 10 grass courts, 4 all-weather tennis courts, 2 squash courts and 2 table tennis tables The sports club which is open to members and non-members offers a range of sports including tennis, pickleball, table tennis, racquetball, and squash. A great way to keep all the family entertained.
For those visiting North Norfolk on holiday the club offers a 1-week holiday pass for about £80 for four people (check with the club for the latest prices). This provides unlimited access to all sports; including the hire of rackets/bats and balls, subject to availability for one week. Just give the club a call or pop into the clubhouse to book your pass. The club is open 7 days per week, 9am to 9pm with free parking available. There is also a clubhouse bar which serves hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes!
